Test Data by Country
Choose from 60 profile locales, then use the country guide to build a focused form or export test. A generated profile is a starting point; deliberate edge cases make failures repeatable.
Choose a country by the behavior you need to test
Start with the markets your application supports. These hand-written inputs expose different form assumptions; they are not automatically generated results or verified addresses.
| Country guide | Deliberate input | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Germany | Postal input: "01234" | Keep a leading zero through saving and CSV import. This is a shape-only fixture, not a verified postcode. |
| Netherlands | Postal input: "1234 AB"; house number: "12A" | Preserve letters, spacing and a house-number suffix instead of coercing the fields to numbers. |
| United Kingdom | County: omitted; stored date: "2026-04-05" | Allow an optional county and keep the stored day unchanged when switching between US and UK display. |
| Austria | Premise input: "18/3/7" | Keep house, block and apartment components with their separators. Do not interpret the input as a fraction. |
| France | Name input: "รlodie"; supplied qualifier: "CEDEX" | Round-trip the accent and a supplied address qualifier without treating this fixture as a deliverable address. |

From a sample to a regression test
- Generate one profile for a supported country. Keep its country code and locality coverage note with the fixture.
- Add a deliberate case from the country guide. Save the exact input and define what your application should preserve or reject.
- Compare the value after editing, copying and export. Change the display locale separately from the stored date or original text.
Read the coverage before using a result
Localities come from linked GeoNames records. Postal prefixes and missing postal data are explicitly labelled; street and house number remain synthetic. The selected generator locale does not cover every language or address used in that country. IBAN formats are maintained separately.
Generated contact details can coincide with real values. Keep outbound email, calls, SMS and payments isolated from these tests.
