Canada Test Data Generator
Create synthetic Canada profiles for forms, demonstrations and localization tests.

Copy individual values or export the entire result.
Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.
Testing Canada interfaces
This locale uses en_CA definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.
Testing Canada forms
Use a Canada profile as a starting point for form tests. This guide focuses on alternating postal characters and province codes. Add the deliberate fixture below to make that behavior repeatable.
Generator locale: en_CA. Suggested application display locale: en-CA. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.
Address reference for Canada
Canadian postal codes alternate letters and digits in two groups of three. The UPU layout places municipality, province or territory abbreviation and postal code on the same line.
Alternating postal characters and province codes
Test a Canadian form immediately after a US form to reveal a leftover numeric-only ZIP rule. Add a French-language accent fixture even when the generator is configured for English Canada.
A deliberate regression fixture
Editorial regression fixture — shape and preservation tests only country: CA postal_shape: "A9A 9A9" (A = letter, 9 = digit) province: "QC" expected: Allow the alternating letter/digit shape and retain the province as a distinct value.
These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.
- 01
Fixture assertion
Allow the alternating letter/digit shape and retain the province as a distinct value.
- 02
Original text
Add the hand-written input “Québec” and compare it after saving, copying and CSV import. It is an editorial string, not promised generator output.
- 03
Locale and coverage
Test en-CA display separately from the stored date-only value. Keep the generated locality coverage note with the record; the address reference does not expand Genory’s dataset.
