Your first record will appear here shortly.
Copy individual values or export the entire result.

Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.

Testing Mexico interfaces

This locale uses es_MX definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.

COUNTRY-SPECIFIC TEST CASES

Testing Mexico forms

Use a Mexico profile as a starting point for form tests. This guide focuses on colonia and state fields. Add the deliberate fixture below to make that behavior repeatable.

Generator locale: es_MX. Suggested application display locale: es-MX. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.

Address reference for Mexico

Mexico uses five-digit postcodes. The UPU examples place a colonia on its own line and include a state abbreviation with the locality; leading zeros occur.

Colonia and state fields

Keep a neighbourhood or colonia separate from the city. A form with only a city field should not silently discard this supplied component when importing a richer address.

A deliberate regression fixture

Editorial regression fixture — shape and preservation tests only
country: MX
postal_shape: "01234"
colonia: "Example neighbourhood"
state: "CDMX"
expected: Keep the postal zero, colonia and state without merging them into one city value.

These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.

  1. 01

    Fixture assertion

Keep the postal zero, colonia and state without merging them into one city value.

  2. 02

    Original text

Add the hand-written input “Núñez” and compare it after saving, copying and CSV import. It is an editorial string, not promised generator output.

  3. 03

    Locale and coverage

Test es-MX display separately from the stored date-only value. Keep the generated locality coverage note with the record; the address reference does not expand Genory’s dataset.
