Your first record will appear here shortly.
Copy individual values or export the entire result.

Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.

Testing Romania interfaces

This locale uses ro definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.

COUNTRY-SPECIFIC TEST CASES

Testing Romania forms

Use a Romania profile as a starting point for form tests. This guide focuses on six-digit codes and sub-building details. Add the deliberate fixture below to make that behavior repeatable.

Generator locale: ro. Suggested application display locale: ro-RO. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.

Address reference for Romania

Romania uses six-digit postcodes; the UPU examples include leading zeros. Block, staircase and apartment information can accompany the street, with an urban sector on another line.

Six-digit codes and sub-building details

Test a six-character postal string rather than reusing a five-digit rule from another market. Keep the block and apartment labels when collapsing or expanding an address preview.

A deliberate regression fixture

Editorial regression fixture — shape and preservation tests only
country: RO
postal_shape: "012345"
block: "B2"
apartment: "8"
expected: Preserve six postal characters and keep the block distinct from the apartment number.

These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.

  1. 01

    Fixture assertion

Preserve six postal characters and keep the block distinct from the apartment number.

  2. 02

    Original text

Add the hand-written input “Ștefan” and compare it after saving, copying and CSV import. It is an editorial string, not promised generator output.

  3. 03

    Locale and coverage

Test ro-RO display separately from the stored date-only value. Keep the generated locality coverage note with the record; the address reference does not expand Genory’s dataset.

Address reference: UPU addressing guide: Romania. Reviewed 4 October 2026. Postal presentation rules are not universal rules for storing personal names.
