Nepal Test Data Generator
Create synthetic Nepal profiles for forms, demonstrations and localization tests.

Your first record will appear here shortly.
Copy individual values or export the entire result.
Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.
Testing Nepal interfaces
This locale uses en_NP definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.
Testing Nepal forms
Use a Nepal profile as a starting point for form tests. This guide focuses on office codes versus ward codes. Add the deliberate fixture below to make that behavior repeatable.
Generator locale: en_NP. Suggested application display locale: en-NP. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.
Address reference for Nepal
Nepal Post’s Chitwan notice describes the revised federal system and lists five-digit office codes alongside seven-digit ward codes. Keep the code’s level and source version with an imported fixture.
Office codes versus ward codes
A blanket five-character limit would truncate a ward code. Add a migration fixture with a code-level field; do not treat older generated locality data as proof of current ward-level coverage.
A deliberate regression fixture
Editorial regression fixture — shape and preservation tests only country: NP office_shape: "99999" ward_shape: "9999999" code_level: "ward" expected: Retain the full seven-character ward input and its level instead of silently truncating it.
These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.

Fixture assertion
Retain the full seven-character ward input and its level instead of silently truncating it.
- 02
Original text
Add the hand-written input “आशा” and compare it after saving, copying and CSV import. It is an editorial string, not promised generator output.

Locale and coverage
Test en-NP display separately from the stored date-only value. Keep the generated locality coverage note with the record; the address reference does not expand Genory’s dataset.
