Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.

Testing Slovakia interfaces

This locale uses sk definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.

COUNTRY-SPECIFIC TEST CASES

Testing Slovakia forms

Use a Slovakia profile as a starting point for form tests. This guide focuses on locality and delivery-office differences. Add the deliberate fixture below to make that behavior repeatable.

Generator locale: sk. Suggested application display locale: sk-SK. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.

Address reference for Slovakia

Slovak postcodes use five digits with a space after the third. The UPU examples include localities served by a different delivery office, and addresses with a locality and house number but no street.

Locality and delivery-office differences

Build a fixture where locality and delivery-office labels differ. A generic cleanup routine should not discard one as a duplicate merely because both look like town names.

A deliberate regression fixture

Editorial regression fixture — shape and preservation tests only
country: SK
locality: "Example village"
delivery_office: "Example delivery town"
postal_shape: "012 34"
expected: Retain the two distinct locality-related fields and the initial postal zero.

These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.

  1. 01

    Fixture assertion

Retain the two distinct locality-related fields and the initial postal zero.

  2. 02

    Original text

Add the hand-written input “Ľuboš” and compare it after saving, copying and CSV import. It is an editorial string, not promised generator output.

  3. 03

    Locale and coverage

Test sk-SK display separately from the stored date-only value. Keep the generated locality coverage note with the record; the address reference does not expand Genory’s dataset.
