US Test Data Generator
Create synthetic United States profiles for forms, demonstrations and localization tests.
Preparing your test data…
Your first record will appear here shortly.
Copy individual values or export the entire result.
Synthetic identities; domains, addresses and numbers may coincide with real values. Do not contact or send payments.
Testing United States interfaces
This locale uses en_US definitions for names and presentation formats. Test text lengths, input handling, exports and Unicode support. City, region and available postal codes come from the same GeoNames locality. See the generated quality note for postal coverage; street and house number remain synthetic.
Testing United States forms
US profiles help test state selectors, postal strings and address lines. A realistic-looking fixture still needs an explicit expected result: test that your software preserves field values before using a larger random dataset.
Generator locale: en_US. Suggested application display locale: en-US. These are separate settings; this guide does not change the generator’s output.
Address components instead of one long string
Keep delivery-address details separate from city, state and ZIP information. Use the USPS addressing standards when defining your application’s postal-label behavior. Genory’s locality coverage note remains part of the fixture; synthetic streets do not establish a deliverable address.
Postal strings and optional name fields
Exercise a ZIP input with a leading zero, and use a separate ZIP+4-shaped fixture if your product supports that format. Do not let a spreadsheet coerce the field to a number. An optional middle-name or suffix field should not become mandatory merely because a sample happens to include one.
US display is a test choice
A date such as 2026-04-05 is useful for comparing en-US and en-GB presentation. Preserve the date-only value and change only its display. Keep phone samples isolated from real calls or SMS. Test your payment provider using its documented sandbox; a card-format sample is not a payment credential.
A deliberate regression fixture
Editorial regression fixture — no postal assignment claim country: US postal_input: "01234" extended_postal_input: "01234-5678" middle_name: omitted date_only: "2026-04-05" expected: preserve the postal strings and original date
These editorial inputs are for controlled tests. They are not verified addresses, guaranteed unassigned contact details, or automatically generated examples.
- 01
Postal round trip
Retain leading zeros and the hyphen in the optional extended case.
- 02
Country switching
Check state requirements when moving between US and non-US forms.
- 03
Display locale
Compare US and UK rendering of the same stored date without changing the value.
