Genory

Static QR Code Generator

Create static QR codes for links, text, Wi-Fi and contacts in your browser. Learn how to test scan distance, contrast and the encoded content.

CONFIGURATION 01

Created entirely in your browser. No QR content is uploaded or stored. Up to 500 UTF-8 bytes including contact or Wi-Fi formatting.

STATIC QR CODE

Your content, directly encoded.

▦

Enter content to create your QR code.

The Genory logo and name appear at the bottom right of every image. Free local preview. PNG and SVG downloads are included with Pro and Developer. QR creation does not use your record allowance.

Static codes have no Genory expiry or redirect. Their content cannot be changed after printing. A linked website must remain available. Preserve the white border when printing.

PRACTICAL GUIDE

Make a QR code that survives the real world.

Create a static code for a URL, text, Wi-Fi settings or a contact. The content is encoded in the image itself. Genory creates the QR content in your browser; it does not host a redirect destination that can later be edited to change the printed code.

  1. 01

    Choose the payload

Use a complete destination URL or enter the requested contact or Wi-Fi fields. Review spelling before generating; the scanner will read what you supplied.

  2. 02

    Keep it easy to scan

Use strong contrast and preserve the clear border around the code. Avoid placing the image over a pattern or cropping it to fit a design.

  3. 03

    Test the final medium

Scan the exported file and a sample printed at its intended size. Check the destination on more than one device before distributing many copies.

Example: test a link before printing

Payload: https://example.com/welcome
Check 1: Scanner reads the exact URL
Check 2: Browser opens the intended page
Check 3: A printed sample still scans

A successful decode and a working destination are separate checks. If you replace the URL in the generator, create and distribute a new image. Existing printed copies do not update.

Before you use the result

Practical answers for your next test.

Can I change the destination later?

The encoded text is static. A URL you control may lead to content you later update, but the QR image itself does not change.

Why does a long payload make a denser code?

More content requires more modules. Keep the payload concise and allow sufficient space in the final layout.

Can I download the image?

PNG and SVG downloads use the existing Pro or Developer export permission. Generation is local; the permission check does not upload the QR content.
